Discerning eyes can tell greatness from mediocrity

以前人们只知瓜雪吃海鲜,看虫虫,适耕庄诳渔村,赏稻田,哪会来这鸟不拉屎的不毛之地光顾,经我发崛,杂志、报纸争相报道,自此门庭若市,更成为马来西亚美食台,2016年全球热搜爆红帖子之首,光荣服役。

Previously people only knew that eat seafood, see fireflies in Kuala Selangor. Fishing village, see rice fields in Sekinchan. They would not patronize to this place that in the middle of nowhere. After I explore and wrote an article for the restaurant in my website, newspapers and magazines competing report, from that time, the restaurant became famous and became the first place in Malaysia Food TV Top 10 most popular restaurant in year 2016 .

                                                                       
胡须港 Sg. Janggut


 到瓜雪KUALA SELANGOR,不一定要去大家熟悉的海鲜胜地。在经过加埔不远Sg  Janggut或称而榄十五支的胡须港,便有一家。

Come to Kuala Selangor, not necessary have to go to the familiar seafood restaurant. You may go to the only restaurant in Sg Janggut.


 胜在名不经传,就是看准东主陈水明,拥有五艘渔船每天出海才推荐。除自供,其余交货雪隆。说起煮炒,之前加埔园香便由他经营。

The restaurant was obscure, I choose to recommend it because of the boss Mr. Tan owned five fishing boat and everyday put out to sea. Except for self-supply, the rest of the fish deliver to Kuala Selangor.


 虽是海口一隅,僻静,见着Goodnite大厦沿着樟谷拱门直驶过水闸,它就在天后宫隔几户,逢六、日生意还好,经赏识后更好,查网络,也因生意大好怠慢贵客常被骂,这正常。是不是该想想,不红的时候,那份谦卑?

Although it is a corner of sea port, secluded, at Kampong Sungai Janggut, Lot 139A, Batu15, Jalan Bagan, Sungai Janggut, 42200 kapar, Selangor. The business still quite ok in Saturday and Sunday. After more and more people recommend it, the business became better and better. But if you check the website, you will see they always neglected customers and often been scolded. This is normal. But is this the time that they should reflect on themselves about they should use a humble attitude to treat customers?

沿着庙旁小路,可到该处的戏水海边,那有座出租公寓面海就越见是幅沙龙,供喜欢自拍人士照个不亦乐乎。

 Along the temple road, you can play water beside the beach. There is a rental apartment facing to the sea, tourist may take selfie at there.


除海产新鲜,懂得交友亦是原因,论环境、设计全是就地取材,尤其那座蚝山,更是太太黄珠音将壳子一粒粒粘上。试问,那么懂生活的夫妇,这又是他俩梦想,哪有弄坏名声道理?

The seafood is fresh. Environment and design all are obtain raw material locally. Especially the oyster mountain, the every pieces of oyster shell stick by the wife Madam Wong. The both husband and wife are people know how to enjoy the life, the restaurant is their dream, it is so pity if they ruin the fame.


坐在半露出海面枱上,约四、五点时分,偶尔会看到海鹭飞来像圈养食着丢进海上的剩鱼,一面吹海风,开箱啤酒轻松自在,做人多好。

Sitting on a semi-exposed surface of stage, about four or five o’ clock, you will see the sea heron eat the leftovers on the sea. While blowing sea breeze, drink a can of beer, good life.


这的鱼、虾、蟹等都有一套煮法,跟瓜雪、适耕庄不同。其中有样炸“土条”,很合我味,相信只此一家,整条马六甲海岸线,还未被我碰到,唉,那些同海域的人家真失败.

This restaurant have it’s own cooking method on fish, prawn and crab. Different with Kuala Selangor and Sekinchan. One of the dish “ Fried soil stripes” is my favor. I think this is the only restaurant who sold this.


所谓土条,是当地称谓,正确学名不詳,样子像江鱼仔,炸起若沙嘴,送酒好比零食炸鱿鱼,只是简单辣椒干爆后撒盐糖而已。

“Soil Stripes” is the local naming, the scientific name is unknown, looks like anchovies. The taste like snack deep-fried squid. Just a simple cooking method by using dried chili, salt and sugar.


切成大块大块头的纹鲨唇,用姜葱与辣椒配,浓郁带褐色汁好比香菇肉酱,肉入口即化,嫩到连豆腐花都要惭愧,不信你不吃.

The shark’s lip that chop into large pieces, matched with ginger, onion and chili. The rich and aromatic brown sauce like pork paste with mushrooms. The meat just melt in my mouth, tender than tofu. I don’t believe if you don’t want to eat.


娘惹蒸纹鲨鱼唇,同样材料以辣椒、指天椒、蒜米、葱头仔、香茅、香花、黄姜磨烂煑,仿佛电锯的鱼头,黄黄地,有点黄姜分裂性格。

Nyonya style steamed shark lips, the ingredients are chili, red cluster pepper, fried spring scallion, lemongrass, turmeric.



妈密苏冬,咬起麦芽糖本质。另样圆粒状香槟排骨,不想停口是因实在太喜欢这类犒仿得比妈密排骨还善解人意的山寨版肉类。

Marmite Sotong, taste like barley candy. Another plate of Champagne Ribs. I can’t stop my mouth, better than marmite ribs.


一大盘清蒸啦啦,每粒都是张开口露出肥肥的舌头,咬起来,除鲜嫩还是鲜嫩,没话说。

A large plate of steamed lala, each of the lala meat fat and satiety. Fresh, I have nothing to said.


冬炎椰子虾,是取香椰椰水,挖出椰肉烹比小龙虾还大的虎虾或明虾,汁液可要慢慢欣赏,怕浪费那介乎咖喱和阿叁的两种滋味。

Tomyam Coconut Prawn, take out the coconut water and coconut flesh to cook prawn, you have to slowly appreciate the soup, the taste is between curry and asam.


酸辣螃蟹,叫了公母两只蟹,将辣辣汁蘸炸过馒头,鲜茄味较浓。

Spicy and sour crab, I order for two crab of different gender, dip the bread into chili sauce, the tomato sauce taste strong.


有样非喝不可,土产香椰椰花酒,比椰花酒更具风韵,但不宜掺黑狗,怕破坏彼此感情。

You have to drink the indigenous coconut wine, not suitable to add in Guinness, afraid will destroy the taste of wine.


清蒸白兰氏斗底。通常吃鲳鱼多数蒸,在这别树一格,学蒸田鸡倒白兰氏鸡精,按资讯所讲,提神醒脑。只是怕补过头,晚上太精神,酒喝不醉人,浪费钱.

Steamed pomfret with brands. The pomfret majority are steaming. The dish similar to Frog steamed with brands. According to the information, the function is refresh the mind.


峇里冬特大,那是种螺类,炒前得先把螺角夹开,然后往尖的那头吸,再回噬壳口。用大量剁碎指天椒、洋葱跟姜加咖喱叶、马来盏、咖喱粉炒,再多粒都不怕,百食不厌。

This is a kind of snail, before fry it, have to cut the tip of snail and suck from the hole. The seasoning is red cluster pepper, onion, ginger, curry leaves, Belacan, curry powder. I am never tired of eating good food.


最后一口气要了半打沁入心肺的大只蚝。这是当地岛屿特产。一个人吃它三、五粒,不用等早起,老二想抬头绝不是问题。

At last, I ate half dozen of oyster, this is the local specialty of the island.
